Why we built this

Making friends as an adult shouldn't require an algorithm.

So we built the simplest possible thing: a list of meetups happening near you, and a way to say you'll be there. Then you go. That's the whole thing.

How it works

  1. 1

Tell us a bit about you

A short interview — what you like, when you're free, the kind of company you enjoy.

  2. 2

    See what's nearby

A coffee walk on Saturday, a book swap on Sunday — events happening close to where you live.

  3. 3

    Show up

Tap “I'll be there,” then go. Hellos happen face to face.

Principles

Only first names

We share what's needed to recognize you when you arrive — a first name and a vibe. Your last name, address, and phone number stay yours.

No DMs

There's no inbox. The way to talk to someone is to show up where they'll be.

No likes, follows, or feed

We don't rank people or score you. There's no notification you can't ignore.

Adults only, neighbors only

Sign-up requires being 18+ and verifying you live nearby. This is meant for the neighborhood you're actually in — not the internet at large.

Show up means show up

Confirming a meetup is a small commitment — someone's counting on you to come.

We don't sell your data

We collect the minimum needed to make a meetup happen. That's it.

Where it works

We're starting on Bainbridge Island, Washington. We'll add new neighborhoods one at a time, so each place stays small enough to actually feel like one.

Not on Bainbridge? Sign up anyway — we'll let you know when we get to you.

Show up.
